Please help, I think I really messed up my computer?

Hello, Yesterday I found out my computer had a virus, it was a fake "anti-virus" program claiming that I had hundreds of viruses, which I didn't. I scanned my computer multiple time with SuperAntiSpyware, MalwareBytes, and even ComboFix! Yet still, I was redirected with google searches, and bombarded with claims of "Security Breached!" and "Virus Alert!". It finally got so bad that my computer crashed due to the multiple fake scanning procedures occurring! And then, out of nowhere, all of my personal documents disappeared, and I wasn't allowed access to the internet! My 3 year insurance with Dell has run out of time, and I don't have enough money to buy more insurance because we literally just moved! So I attempted to reinstall Windows completely with a disk called "Windows Operating System Media Center Edition". It started running well, asked me to enter the serial key, and then when it finished i rebooted the CPU. When I got to the log in screen with all of the accounts, I clicked on mine and it said that Windows needed to be activated! Yet how could I activate Windows from the log in screen!? I tried safe mode, but still to no avail, it said that I couldn't activate Windows in safe mode. And the darn virus is still there! And I cannot access the internet on that computer, which is my main one! This one is my little sister's for school!!! Please please please help, I have FINALS tomorrow and I need to study!!! :( I really want to get rid of the virus without loosing all of my documents like school papers, pictures, videos and even my Sims games!!! Unfortunately, I'm not sure if it's possible. And I can't afford 99$ to go get my computer fixed professionally, my family has been surviving off of white bread and canned beans and expired food since we moved. I don't have a full time anti-virus because I'm a jackass

Can you log into your system at all? If you cannot log in boot into safemode and try the steps below. If you can log in please try the steps below. Editing the registry Begin by opening the Registry Editor and navigating to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\Current Version\WPAEvents In the right pane, right-click the ODBETimer binary value and select Modify. Change at least one character of this value to either a number from 0 to 9 or to a letter from A to F, then click OK and close the Registry Editor. This renders the current product key invalid and deactivates Windows. Now, it’s time to reactivate Windows using your new product key. Click Start | Run and enter the command: %systemroot%\system32\oobe\msoobe /a where %systemroot% is your Windows directory. In many cases, this command will look like: C:\windows\system32\oobe\msoobe.exe /a At this point, Windows will launch the Product Activation Wizard.
