Installing Windows 7 on a new laptop?
I'm getting a substitute for my old laptop that have insurance. So i'm getting the same kind of laptop again. Not buying a new one, but getting it replaced with the same kind.
Can i legally install Windows 7 on that laptop? My old one has been replaced by HP with this new one.
The copy of Windows 7 i own, is already installed on the old laptop. It have been activated. Can i still install on a the new (same kind of laptop, but completely new) ?

Legally? Sure, if you own a copy of Windows 7 that's not installed on any other computer. Physically? If you can get Windows 7 drivers for that laptop at HP's site.

Hey Patrick!
You can try to install it but check microsoft's website to check your laptop if its ready or not.
Btw I just got a genuine Windows 7 Ultimate just for free.
Ok then, try your best ;)
