Powerpoint introduction help?
hi, im giving a powerpoint as part of a job interview. the company has already supplied me with slides and theyv said only present text on slides but need to introduce presentation and having trouble presenting the english in a way that flows.
the companies name is unum provident and the pretend powerpoint is about income protection insurance. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated as dont have much hair left to tear out!x
I dont have prob with the actual powerpoint its only 5mins and a few slides and its word for word.
when i come to say, hello, my name is.....and today i will be blah blah blah, anything im thinking of saying doesnt sound right
example
Hello my name is Valerie
Today I will be giving you a presentation about Unum provident- doesnt sound right and want to talk about the income protection but on pen and paper am struggling.X

well it seems your asking more on adgvice about how to present a presentation?
am i right?
ok so go through the presentation slide by slide if the slides have a lot of text on them then read it, then right some notes. what i would do is get some blank cards which you can right some words on to help jog your memory so if you try to learn the presentation, then when your in front of the interview you can have these cards which you can glance at quickly and remember whats your meant to say and go on and say it.

When ever creating a PP, make sure you use the least amount of words as possible because reading will make the viewers bored. Try and remember everything and just use the PP as a guide to your speech.
